Gianny Correa, musician with a passion for bringing the rhythm and soul of Cuba to the world. Gianny is the musical director of Latin Power Band, winner of the World Music category of the Forest City London Music Awards 2022.

Born in Cuba, Gianny began his music career in 1983 at the elementary music school in Cienfuegos, and went on to achieve his Bachelor in music at the National school of arts in Havana in 1995. With a wealth of experience and skill, he began teaching saxophone at the elementary Music school Benny More, while also performing with various bands and recording CDs with the Label EGREM from Cuba and Magic Music from Spain. In 2000 and 2001 Gianny embarked on a tour of various cities in Canada with the International show Repique Cubano, and decided to make Canada his home after the tour finished.

Today, he continues to share his love of music by teaching saxophone, piano, and percussion, and performs regularly in various cities in Canada with Latin Power Band. Latin Power Band is the Forest City London Music Awards winners of the World music category 2022.
