Rachelle Courtney

Rachelle Courtney is a Canadian jazz singer whose classic vocal style is reminiscent of artists such as Doris Day and Ella Fitzgerald. A graduate of Humber College’s jazz program, Rachelle has studied with some of the finest musicians in the country. She has enjoyed a rewarding career performing and collaborating with many different groups including Swing Shift Big Band at venues such as The Rex, and the TD Toronto Jazz Festival, and has recorded accompanying vocals for singer Lori Cullen on her album “Buttercup Bugle”, with performances at Hugh’s Room and the Harbourfront Centre Theatre. As both a lounge singer and main-stage performer aboard various cruise lines, Rachelle has enjoyed touring the world and developing an international following. She has received multiple nominations for the Forest City London Music Awards and enjoys performing locally at concert halls, festivals, restaurants, and private functions.
