London Artists Represent at Opening of Celestia Toronto

London talent is hitting the stage at the opening of Celestia in Toronto - an art installation in partnership between the Canadian UNESCO Creative Cities Network. Quebec City, Toronto, Montreal and London have come together to enhance the status of the UNESCO network and to engage each community with art and music.

The free Toronto grand opening will take place at Sankofa Square Friday, February 14 from 6-10 PM, featuring live performances from Toronto and London-based artists: Junko Daydream, Tara Kannangara, Lady Pista, NESS, Rosina B. Solomon, and Tyrone Traher.

The Celestia by Kleis installation consists of a collection of seven colorful modules made of steel and 100% recycled polystyrene, which come to life with sound and light as spectators approach and interact with them. Inspired by the Seven Sisters from the Greek myth of the Pleiades, these modules are unique in color, emotion, and character.

The installation will be coming to London this summer!
