National Music Survey

Music Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Live Music Association, is currently undertaking a study to determine the economic contribution of the broader music ecosystem in Canada. They’re collecting data from businesses who promote live music events or operate a live music venue. Aspects of focus are organization characteristics and revenue data; additional optional segments include information regarding promotion and live music venue details.

They're asking for your time and support to help determine and accurately measure the economic impact the live music industry has on Canada. The survey will take no more than 8 minutes to complete and is extremely mobile-friendly, it can be completed on a cellphone with ease. Any contribution made will assist the live music community in creating further opportunities and help demonstrate the significance of our industry to the province – and the country.

The survey is only open until Monday, September 16th, 2019. Results will be presented in such a way that will not identify any individual organization as confidentiality is crucial. For the link to the survey, click here.
